Which vaccinations your dog needs.
For every dog
Vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, infectious canine hepatitis (HCC), leptospirosis and rabies are recommended for all dogs.
Puppies
Puppies are vaccinated several times a few weeks apart from about 8 weeks of age. Until then they shouldn't have contact with unknown, unvaccinated dogs.
Depending on lifestyle
Kennel cough vaccination is often given if your dog has a lot of contact with other dogs, for example at dog school or in boarding.
Boosters on schedule
How often boosters are needed depends on the vaccine. Your vet sets the plan. A valid rabies vaccination is required for travel abroad.
