Caring for claws and coat
Brushing, trimming claws and getting through moulting.

Brushing
Long-haired cats need brushing almost daily, otherwise the coat mats. For short-haired cats once a week is usually enough, more often during moulting in spring and autumn.

Getting used to it with treats
Start with short sessions and reward your cat. Stop before she gets annoyed. That way brushing becomes a nice habit.

Trimming claws
Most cats keep their claws short themselves. In older cats they sometimes grow too long. Then only cut the clear tip, never into the pink part, where the nerves and blood vessels are.

Hairballs
Cats swallow hair while grooming. Regular brushing and cat grass help so fewer hairballs form.
In shortBrush regularly, trim only the tip of the claws and always with a reward.
