House-training a puppy
Go out, praise, be patient.
Go out often
Take your puppy outside right after sleeping, eating and playing, and in between roughly every one to two hours.
Celebrate outside
When he goes outside, praise him straight away and give him a treat. That way he quickly learns where his business belongs.
Accidents happen
Scolding doesn't help, it only makes him insecure. Clean the spot thoroughly, ideally with a cleaner that removes odours.
At night too
Young puppies can't hold it long at night yet. A short trip out during the night is part of the beginning.
